Peru Luxury Travel

We had a great time, overall. The guides and transfers were great... Christian in Lima, Maria and Rossie in Cusco, Vilma at Macchu Picchu, and William and Jorge at Posada Amazonas. I missed the Sacred Valley Tour (I got sick one night in Cuzco) but Matt and the kids really enjoyed it. We especially enjoyed the private tours, Machu Picchu, and the jungle. I think for the kids the only tour they did not really enjoy was the day trip within the city of Cuzco.

We enjoyed the people, the country, the scenery, and the culture. Peru for Less made a busy and fast paced trip possible with great people and timely service. We could not have done as much as we did, nor, with such ease, on our own. We had been hesitant to use a tour company in the past, but we were very happy with your company.

Also, Lan airlines is awesome! Matt and I went to Costa Rica five years ago and we had to fly very small planes to get around the country. We were very impressed with Lan and it made us feel secure when flying with our children within Peru.

Overall, we felt very secure and safe in Peru, and having such nice people to welcome us and guide us was a lot of fun! Our son says he is going back to Peru for a month when he is older, and will stay in the jungle the whole time. Only in the jungle could we have gotten him up at 4:30 am to go on a hike to a clay lick! He was in heaven. The kids also caught Piranha fish in the oxbow lake, and afterwards the guides took them back to the kitchen and they cooked them for the kids for lunch. They loved them!

Our last night, we took a taxi to Miraflores and had a great dinner at one of the restaurants overlooking the ocean. We put our bags in storage at the airport. It was a nice way to end the trip. Overall, Peru was great and thanks for all your time and coordination!

We tell everyone if they ever go to Peru - you are definitely the people to contact.

Jeff and I very much enjoyed our trip to Peru and have recommended you and Peru For Less to my friend who will be travelling with you. We were very happy with our arrangements. People were invariably warm and friendly. As we walked through villages every single person we passed greeted us with a ”Buenos dias” or ”Buenas tardes.” We don't get that here in the US very often. It goes without saying that the ruins were breathtaking and didn't disappoint, either. Our thanks again to our guides: Sylvia in Cuzco, Mary in the Sacred Valley, and Fabricio at Machu Picchu. Also to Jenny, who helped with arrangements, Wilda in Cuzco, and Carlos, our driver. The whole staff was very friendly and helpful and we were pleasantly surprised to have private tours in the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. All the tranfers and pick-ups were on time and every hotel was comfortable, clean and charming. Thanks again to everyone at Peru For Less! We were very happy with the service and had a wonderful vacation!

Many thanks to you and your team for your help in our trip to Peru! You have provided us with lots of flexibility in the travel organisation as well as all the information needed! Once arrived and despite our chaotic schedule with people arriving the day before and a lot of customization, everything went really well! The representative in Arequipa was extremely friendly and helpful, as well as the guide we had for the tour of the city! His English was perfect and he was really knowledgeable, customizing the tour for us, providing us an excellent service. We then headed towards the Colca Canyon and Chivay for a few days. Our guide Milagros was fantastic as well as the whole landscape and the mountain experience. We really enjoyed our stay and the people from Peru for Less made it happen! I just wanted to take a moment and share with you my experience in Mendoza, Argentina. I had a wonderful time. Although my trip was short it was filled with some great experiences and wonderful memories. I want to thank you for all the care you put into my trip and the quick turn around in the short time I gave you to prepare everything. The vineyards we visited were very nice and all of the people involved in all of our tours were very well informed and very pleasant to be around. My trip to the mountains of Mendoza was amazing. Although the weather was not to our favor, this will always be a trip that I will hold close to my heart. On our last night in Mendoza my boyfriend of 3 yrs asked me to marry him. So you see Mendoza brought me: great wine, wonderful memories, and a lot of love. The extra attention of an interpreter for my boyfriend was a great surprise. Ivana was her name, and she was a great addition to all of this pleasure. Thank you once again. I wish you and your team great success in all of your future endeavors.

We are doing just fine, and yes, we miss Peru - the sunshine and the lovely people!

We would like to thank you for making our trip to Peru so memorable. Everything seemed to run smoothly and we were very impressed at each stagewith the handovers and transfers. All the hotels we were in, were clean andcomfortable. We would gladly recommend ”Peru for Less” to all our friends and colleagues.As mentioned to you, we were initially impressed with the speed of your return E mails, and your knowledge, gave us every confidence.

We loved our trip to Lake Titicaca (had a little altitude sickness only) and of course Machu Picchu was most impressive, a dream come true! We had a wonderful flight over the Nazca lines, and the Ballestas islands were an utter delight.
We would love to visit Peru again, and maybe visit Ecuador too. We will most certainly contact you when we do so.

I just wanted to send you a belated thank you for a fantastic trip? We thought the quality of the hotels was excellent (they surpassed our expectations). As for the trail itself, the food, accommodation and guide were superb. Speaking to other people that did the Inca trail with other companies, we seemed to have the best experience of them all. As promised, here are some comments about our recent trip to Peru.
We were met at each point of transfer without any problems and this made the travel end of the trip very care free. Our first hotel, Melia, near the Lima airport was convenient, the buffet breakfast excellent. The hotel in Cuzco, the Arqueologo, was a real treat. We felt right at home there and everyone on the staff was friendly and helpful. They had drinkable water available to fill our water bottles. The had light meals in the evening at the bar of which we took advantage of the first and last nights we were there. The Sacred Valley tour was very interesting. The Inka Trail was extrodinairy. Our guide met every need and was a delight to spend time with. We had a small group, a total of 7 people, and three different languages spoken, English, Spainish and German. Our porters worked endlessly and deserve much more credit than anyone. The train ride from Aguas Calientes was very entertaining. They had a fashion show and dancer on board. Actually, the nicest Alpacca we saw was featured on the train. Our day spent in Lima was also very nice. We had a wonderful meal at Punta Sol that was reccommended by our driver. The location of the Marriot in Miraflores was perfect for us to walk along the water front, do last minute shopping and have a lite meal before heading to the airport. Hope this information is helpful. We would reccomend Peru For Less to everyone.

The trip was really wonderful!! I was very pleased at how smoothly everything went. Every airport pickup and drop off was right on time and very efficient. Everyone was very, very nice with good English skills. All of the hotels were great. The Salcantay team was excellent. In particular, our guide, Cesar Medina, was wonderful. He was excellent. The food on the trek was also very good- tasty and safely prepared. I would like to return to Peru and see Nazca, Ica, Lake Titicaca, and the Amazon (plus Machu Picchu) in a few years when my children are older so that they can appreciate and remember their experience. Thank you so much once again- YOU were wonderful and very patient with me.

I have only just checked my e-mails today on arriving back at work. Yes, we were in Cusco. It's a shame that I hadn't realised earlier as we could have met up. We spent the night in Cross Keys before going into the square which as you know was wild. We have never seen a party like it !

As for the trip as a whole we were extremely impressed and I would recommend you to anyone.

The hotels were better than I was expecting and the transfers were always punctual and very friendly.

We had some great seats at the very front of the train back from Machu Pichu (literally the front two) and the train down to Puno was also something else (more like the Orient Express).

Four days in the jungle was just right time wise but brilliant as we saw so many animals and birds. Again the people were very informative and friendly.

I could write and tell you about each stop we made but basically we couldn't have asked for much more.

We also got engaged on New Years Day at Machu Pichu so the itinerary worked out perfect for me to propose.

So, thanks for a great trip, it was good to meet you and if we come to South America again we will get you to arrange it.

Thank you so much for everything! Everything about the trip was PERFECT! Everything went smoothly at Machu Picchu . Rossie from CAT Cusco was excellent!! She gave us her cell phone numbers just in case anything came up and I felt confident that even if there were to be more landslides she would have helped us to get up to or back from Machu Picchu somehow.

All the transfers went smoothly. All the hotels were nice and their staff were all very friendly and helpful. The entire trip was just one amazing day after another. Thank you for all your work in arranging everything and for being available to answer all my questions, even once we were in Peru. My wife and I can't wait to visit South America again. When we do we will definitely be calling Peru for Less again. As soon as we got back I started looking at your website again to see all the other places you have tours in!!.
