Five weeks in South America and we joke that we received "more for less." Our first online contact was with Gavin Breeze who patiently answered innumerable questions and helped us organize our "own detailed and unique itinerary" to meet our interests, pace and budget to suit our group of five people, all in their sixties. We selected our accommodations (based on our price range) from an electronic shortlist provided by Peru for Less. The hotel names were linked to websites so we could actually see the possibilities ahead of time. Our accommodations turned out to be excellent throughout the trip. From hotels, to flight purchases, and to arrangements for the local tours, Gavin's insights gave us good advice and choices. Our questions were always promptly and thoroughly answered. This service was SO much better than buying a packaged tour!!!

We also appreciated the ground staff arranged by Peru for Less in the five different countries (Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, and Ecuador) we visited, who, without fail, arranged for us to meet and depart on eleven separate flights at all hours of the day. Having personal transfers from airports to hotels (and vice versa) and to be picked up and delivered at our hotels before and after tours took so much of the stress and uncertainty out of the trip. This service allowed us to really enjoy the sights and not worry about the logistics of getting here and there. We were provided with often exceptional guides for specified tours that always met or exceeded expectations. We had a good balance of tours on our own and those when we were merged with larger groups. We always appreciated the flexibility and personal touch, AND all at reasonable price. We highly recommend Peru for Less and plaudits to Gavin who easily earned his beer when we met up with him in Lima."

Let me begin by saying THANK YOU!!!

Though I have traveled around the world with my sons (over 27 countries), this was the 1st trip when it was just the 3 of us, so it was a very special trip, indeed. My experience with Peru For Less was enjoyable from the onset. Not only were you and Diego prompt and precise in your email communications with me, your company worked effortlessly with me to customize this very special trip.

Your prices are more than reasonable and your methods of payment were simple, as well as assured.As a traveler, I am more than aware of how even the most experienced traveler can get ripped off. And though I had researched your company, I admit I still harbored a fear that things may not turn out the way I had planned them with your company. After arriving in Peru, those fears were put to rest time and time again.

Cristina was amazing! To see her smiling face greet us in Cuzco was a welcome sight. The driver, Carlos, was professional, pleasant, prompt and a safe driver. Cristina was enjoyable, personable, and completely in control of each event. Maria (our guide for the Sacred Valley) and our driver were also prompt in pick-up services and very personable and flexible, as well as enjoyable during our full-day excursion through the Sacred Valley which included the buffet lunch. Lunch, by the way, was amazing. Not just the food, but the restaurant! Wow! What an experience!

We were then picked up for our train ride to Machu Picchu with no problems. I can't tell you how important that was. Such an early pick-up, yet there we were, at the station and on our way. Fabricio, our guide in Machu Picchu, was amazing! Like the rest of your people, he too was prompt and provided another unforgettable experience. We really enjoyed him.

Cristina was, again, a delight to see when she and Carlos took us back to the airport when we had to leave Cuzco to head back for Lima. She escorted us as far as she could until she knew we were okay to continue on with our flight. She then made sure our ride was ready for us back in Lima to take us to the hotel you arranged for us. Then, to our final satisfaction, your driver delivered us to the international airport the next morning to return us back to the States.

Without Peru For Less, I am convinced that this very special trip would not have been NEARLY as wonderful as it was. Thank you for making this a truly unforgettable experience for my sons and for me. Your services were so exemplary; I have already referred you to at least 2 of my friends who were waiting to see how it worked out for me.

Thank you for making our travels in Peru an exceptional experience. When we first decided to travel and booked our trip in August, Peru had a large earthquake that made us very nervous - especially since part of our tour was near the earthquake zone. Your company reacted quickly to find us a suitable alternative for our accommodations and still ensure that we were still able to travel to all the destinations in our tour. We really appreciated your patience in answering our numerous questions and rearranging our tour to meet our needs. It was very comforting to see the Peru for Less sign at all our destinations. The accommodations were terrific, the sites and tours well planned and picked and the entire trip was wonderful.

Finally, we appreciated meeting you, Christina and Javier for lunch - a personal touch we won't forget. We could not believe that Javier would also "follow us" to Cusco to check on us midway through the tour. That level of service goes beyond anyone's expectations! I want to start by saying that we had an absolute awesome time!! It was definitely the best trip I've been on, and Machu Picchu is truly the coolest thing I've ever seen! And, I wanted to let you know what a gem Javier was. He was absolutely awesome! When I lost my wallet he went above and beyond to assist me in getting it back (which I did, with everything still in it!). He was friendly, knowledgeable and always available to answer our questions.

Thank you for following up with us.  My husband (John) and I had a wonderful time. Due to problems with our flights to Peru (which were arranged by us, not by Peru For Less), we did not get off to a great start. Half of our group (2 people) made it to Peru on schedule. The other two were 24 hours behind. Janjoris was very helpful in rescheduling our flight from Lima to Cusco, our hotels, and our train to Machu Picchu. Peru For Less handled our problem well and managed two separate itineraries for a few days until those of us arriving late caught up to the other two three days later. This was a true test for how well a travel agency can be the difference in a having a good or bad vacation. Without Peru For Less, this may have turned out to be a bad vacation for us! The Peru for Less staff and other tour guides were great. Fabricio (Machu Picchu) was very knowledgeable and made the experience perfect. Juan Carlos was so nice and really took good care of us in Cusco. I have to say that Machu Picchu was the highlight of the trip. That is something we had wanted to see for awhile and it did not disappoint. We really enjoyed our entire stay in Peru. All the people we met were so nice and the food was fantastic. We already know we'd like to go back to Peru on a future vacation. We plan to recommend Peru For Less to our friends and family, as we had a wonderful experience.

We can't say enough about how wonderful the entire trip was. It began with our flight being delayed (imagine that). As we stood in the immigration line and eventually retrieved our luggage and as our energy level rapidly drained away from us, we entered the sea of humanity outside the baggage claim with the barrage of ”taxi, taxi cat calls,” it then dawned upon us that it was the middle of the night and we were in a foreign country. It seemed like a hopeless situation and thoughts of despair hit us and then like a ray of sunshine, we saw the Peru for Less agent holding a sign with our name on it. Everything from that point became the adventure of a lifetime. The highlight was of course Machu Picchu. It was as advertised and even more. The entire journey was a feast of spectacular sights, tastes, and cultural enlightment. This was a trip like no other we've ever taken. The people of Peru were warm and hospitable and that made the entire journey even more pecial. I would highly recommend Peru for Less for anyone who ever plans on visiting Peru. The staff was very curteous and professional and they exceeded all of our expectations. They were very detail oriented and made us feel very secure and safe throughout the entire trip. As for working with you, I can't say enough positive things Bernard. What a wonderful experience it was. This was our first time planning a trip on-line. At first, we were somewhat nervous, since we didn't know if your firm was legimitate, or anything like that. But you were always responsive, caring, warm, answered our many many questions patiently and throughly, provided us with good guidance and helped us plan our trip. Everything you promised, you delivered. The guides were knowledgable and with good communication skills. And the places you selected for us were comfortable and nice to stay at.
