Hi Jenny,

Our trip to Peru in November was great, thanks to your arrangements and the local folks who took care of us. All of the accomodations, transportation and site visits went very smoothly. The Inca sites are truly amazing and we were happy to visit now because I'm sure that access to these sites will be restricted in the future for their preservation. Wilda and Frabricio and their associates were terrific. Since it was election season in Peru, it was fun to talk with them about politics and the election. We appreciated their willingness to engage us in conversation about life in Peru in addition to the typical tourism conversations. From restaurant recommendations to hotel room selection, our guides were helpful and knowledgeable. Thanks so much for a memorable trip. I've recommended you to others.

Cheers,

Linda and Vince,

Dear Peru Luxury Travel

Our trip was wonderful. We enjoyed everything we did and saw. It would be hard to pick a favorite activity or location. Everything was so different at each place that we just loved all of them. As for the guides, again they were great. They were always on time and all were knowledgeable about the areas we visited. Anytime we have traveled, we have never considered going back to that location, but there was still so much more to see and do in Peru that we have considered at some point going back and we just got home! My son just loved the horseback ride to Maras Morey Salt mines, and my husband is ready to ride the train again that we took to Puno. He is a huge train fan. As for me, I would like to head back to Ollantaytambo. Our trip there was not long enough and our only regret was not staying the night there in that town. There is just so much to explore in that area and the day tours don't give enough time for that. Without a doubt, we will highly recommend your tour group to all of our friends. I can't imagine anyone doing a better job than your entire crew did. Thanks for doing such a good job and making this the best and most memorable trip we have ever taken!.

Hi Ximena,

The trip was spectacular and everything went perfect. Everyone was on time for pick-ups and all our tickets and accommodations were in line. All the hotels were very nice. All the tours we went on and museums were great as well. Lucky for us, the weather was perfect, too. Thanks so much for everything....we had a great time and your company did a great job. We were very pleased and would definitely recommend you to anyone.

Take care,

Moira,

Hi Richard,

Phyllis and I had a wonderful vacation in Peru. It was fantastic. A truly beautiful country with great people. First of all, we were very impressed with the tour companies and how they met us at every hotel, bus station, train station and airport. It was one of those small things that allowed us to be totally relaxed and enjoy everything else. We truely appreciated the Peruvian people and how friendly they are. We had great meals, some at restaurants you recommended: Astrid y Gaston in Lima, and a couple in Cusco that I can't remember the names. Also, the hotels were all charming and well staffed. The tours were also very good. We enjoyed the Lima city tour, the tour out of Pisco (Ballestas Islands), and of course the Sacred Valley was beautiful. We tended to think that Sacsayhuaman was more interesting than Macchu Pichu because of the stone work, however, Macchu Pichu was spectacular in its' setting, especially after the crowds left. Ollantaytambo was also amazing. Your company did an excellent job and we certainly would ask you to plan our next South American trip in a few years. We have discussed a Buenos Aires to Patagonia to Santiago trip; maybe in 2008. Thank you again for a wonderful vacation.

Regards,

Patrick ,

Dear Ximena,

We had a wonderful trip and certainly appreciate what you did to pull it all together. Maria and Carlos were great transporting us to and from the airport and the train station. Rosie did a good job making sure we knew what time we'd be picked up and taking us on the Sacred Valley tour. Staying at the Sanctuary Lodge was certainly a highlight of the trip. Although I note that their prices are high, I encourage anyone who can possibly afford it to stay there. It was wonderful to be able to just walk back and forth to the preserve. We liked the Novotel Cusco and thought their staff was very accommodating. I enjoyed having dinner with you on Tuesday evening. It was very nice to be able to meet the person with whom I had corresponded so many times. We would certainly use Peru For Less again should we plan another trip to Peru. Your company does an excellent job. Best wishes for a wonderful holiday season. When you come to DC, please give us a call.

Thanks again,

Dear Ale,

Carolyn and I had a wonderful time. We were very impressed by the punctuality, kindness and consideration of everyone connected with Peru for Less, especially Maria and Rosie in Cusco.

The highlight of the trip was Machu Piccu and we loved Cusco where we discovered Pisco Sours and shopped for our baby - alpaca gifts. I hope to return to Peru some day and explore some different areas of this beautiful country.

We want to thank you and Claudia for all your help in making this a very memorable trip.

Dear Peru Luxury Travel

We had a fantastic time in Peru. Our trip to Machu Picchu was great. From the moment we were picked up in Cusco to our return. Our guide was great and made our trip very memorable. We even had other tourists joining our group as his English was so good and he was so enthusiastic about his job!!
So thank you and Peru for Less.

Kind regards,

Laura,

Diego,

Machu Picchu was awesome. For 25 years I have had my poster of Machu Picchu hanging in my classroom. Its mysteriousness has always beckoned to me. At last, I got to see it and was not disappointed. Our guide was very knowledgeable. She obviously loved her people and her country and enjoyed sharing her knowledge with others. She was also patient with the slower climbers. She left some time for the adventurous one to explore a bit on their own. I loved being able to walk a piece of the Inca Trail. My day in Machu Picchu was a dream come true. Everything else we got to see was just frosting on the cake. In my Spanish textbook there is a three sentence blurb about the Inti Raymi celebration. After being there, I now have a lot more information to share with my students. I'm certain they will be a lot more students interested in the Incas when I show them the video and other information I got at the Inti Raymi celebration. Our seats were great! I got wonderful photos and videos! You gave good advice about pacing our tours so we would have something interesting to see every day but not so much that we would get too tired to enjoy things or have no free time for shopping.

Dear Peru Luxury Travel

Our trip to Peru was thoroughly enjoyable! What a wonderfully diverse country! All reservations PFL made for us (transfers, tours, hotels, flights, etc.) were in place and efficiently handled. At one point we needed to call PFL (I believe on a Sunday) over concern that we had only one voucher (for 1 person/1 seat) for two of the Cruz del Sur bus trips. After explaining the situation to Jan, he said ”I'll take care of it”. Shortly thereafter, we received new vouchers for BOTH of us. The jungle lodge Reserva Amazonica was great! Our accommodations were superlative (I think we had a suite!) and the excursions were interesting. The entire complex is beautifully laid out. Other hotels we really liked: Casa Andina (Sacred Valley), Sanctuary Lodge (Machu Picchu) and Colca Lodge. The best tour guide was ”Johnny.” He guided our group to the Colca Canyon. He was informative, knowledgeable, had an outgoing personality, and was fluent in English, French, and Spanish. Again, we had a fabulous time and want to thank all of you for making the arrangements and helping us with some of the decision making.

Pennsilvania.
