Below you will find some of the feedback we have received from recent travelers. We have the best testimonials in the market and we can provide the contact info of any client listed on our testimonials page.
Our trip was more than we ever expected. All of the travel arrangements were perfect, and everyone was so friendly and accommodating. The weather was very nice (we expected a lot of rain, but we only had a few hours of rain in the jungle). Our trip was great.
I think the highlight of our trip was Machu Picchu. It was incredible to see the ruins, and it was so beautiful. We also loved Cusco, and the Jungle Trip was also incredible. We saw a family of giant river otters on Lake Sandoval, two caimans, red howler monkeys, bats, and many birds. We also saw a capybara on the Madre de Dios. We loved everything about Peru and would love to return. An added bonus that we did not plan was the Festival of the Virgin of Candelaria, in Puno. The parade was spectacular.
Thanks again for all of your help. We hope to visit Peru again soon, and we will certainly recommend Peru for Less to our friends.
Sincerely,
Bob & Mary,

Our trip to Peru was just wonderful, thanks to you and your staff. The altitude was a little difficult in the ”highlands” and we appreciated the oxygen when we returned to Lima. However, Cuzco is just magical. This was our favorite place, and a place we'd love to return to. We loved Machu Picchu, the Sacred Valley, and the many other sites in this area. All of our accommodations were perfect, and our tour guides were informative and fun. We found rural Peru quite enticing, simple yet wholesome. All in all, a perfect vacation, and we'd recommend Peru to anyone, assuming they don't mind the altitude and are able to climb. There were quite a few people in our groups who were ”huffing and puffing”, but the exercise and thin air really didn't slow us down much. Thanks again for all of your help. Perhaps our paths will cross one day.

The trip with my mother to PERU is an experience I will never forget. Even if you've read a thousand books and talked to a million people about PERU, you won't have the same experience of taking just are step and taking in the air, isn't the same.
Not only did I learn about the ruins from the tour guides, I learned the philosophy, and the INCA culture, and some jokes to make the tour more FUN!.
I will always remember the grocery store owner that spoke to my Mother and I about the QUECHUA Language for 2 hours at store, it was the greatest lecture ever!
My Mother and I will never forget the BICYCLE-TAXI ride (That speeeeeeeeed is such an adventure!) we took back to the hotel in PUNO from a dinner and live performance, my Mother screamed the whole BICYCLE-TAXI ride. Oh! MAMALLAY (Madre mia!:in Quechua)
I felt jealous to see some of the Island people of Lake TITIKAKA, never saw a car before and never heard the car alarm go off all night because of a car thief, which always happens around New York City where we live.
I hope PERU stays the same forever!!.
Thank you JP.and all of the Peru
for Less staff!

Did mean to get back to you sooner but have been suffering from post holiday
depression! We just wanted to say thanks again for all your work in booking our
trip- everything went really well, we even got upgraded to first class on the
flight out from Madrid to Lima, which was very nice: how the other half live!
All the pick-ups were on time, in hindsight I should have booked the
transfers to and from the hotel with you on our return from Cusco to Lima, as it
was always good to see someone there with a board waiting for you. It makes
things really easy.
Weather was good, even got some sunshine in Lima, which
was quite rare by all accounts! And yes, it was hot up at Machu Picchu, but what
a place! It didnt fill up with visitors either. We loved the market at Pisaq,
really could have blown the whole budget there, but had to remember that we had
to carry it all with us.
We have enclosed a photo we took at the National
Stadium in Lima, as we went up to have a look. The taxi driver took his life in
his hands for this picture, as he stood in the middle of the road. Thats why
I'm looking at the traffic- someone slapped him on the bum as he drove past! But
he didnt seem to mind! Anyway, just a big thanks again for a wonderful
trip.

The trip went very well. It was definitely worthwhile despite my initial self imposed problems. All your contacts were very reliable keeping in touch and making sure we got to the right places at the right times. The several days in Lima were also nice. Had a chance to get to know the place a little.
It was a great introduction to Peru. I'd like to go back sometime and explore more in depth, maybe do the Inca trail etc.
Appreciate all your efforts through the confusion. Hope things are going well with you. Let's keep in touch.

Our family appreciates all the excellent travel assistance you have provided us on our Peru vacation. All of the places we visited (Lima, Arequipa, the Coca Valley, Lake Titicaca, Cusco, Sacred Valley, and of course Machu Picchu) were utterly fascinating and the guides were excellent. When our flight leaving Arequipa was cancelled, Jan promptly rearranged our tour at Lake Titicaca. My family will continue to remember the amazing people and places we visited in Peru. In the future if we visit South America again, we will definitely contact Peru for Less.
Thank You,

We, a Dutch family of 12 persons, had a fantastic time in Peru thanks to the program that you arranged for us. Everything was very well arranged from the start at the airport in Lima to the end at the same location. Everywhere drivers/guides were waiting for us and brought us to our hotels. The tour that you had chosen for us was very diversified and spectacular. Starting with the Islas Ballestas, then the famous Nazca Lines, the floating Islands at the Titicaca Lake, the cultural centre of Cuzco, the Lares trekking in the Andes Mountains and finally the famous Machu Picchu. What attracted us especially was the combination of nature (the Andes) and culture (the Incas). This is unique. But we could enjoy these that much, thanks to the perfect organization of our journey. Everywhere enthusiastic local guides were showing us the most interesting places en giving us relevant information. People in the hotels were very friendly, as the people in Peru in general are, and made our stay unforgettable.
Many, many thanks for your efforts,
Sjaak,
Holland.
I want to send heartfelt thanks from all of us for the exceptional job Peru For Less did on our trip. With such a long and complicated itinerary, we fully expected a few hitches, but no, it all went like clockwork. We were highly impressed with your country, your people, your scenery, and above all by the courteous and friendly people we met along the way. Special praise must go to the guides Javier in Arequipa and Juan Carlos on Cuzco. They were knowledgeable and super friendly and helpful. Each area we traveled to was so different from the one before and we are glad we made an effort to ”do it all.” The planes, buses, and 1st Class train to Machu Picchu were surprisingly modern and safe, with good service. One of the highlights of the trip was on the 1st Class Train when the waiters put on a fashion show of Alpaca goods and did a Peruvian dance up and down the isle! Between all of us, we have an incredible amount of photographs to look at now for the rest of our lives, to remind us of the trip of a lifetime. You spoiled us, as we will never find another place to compare with Peru. Thanks again. All of you at Peru For Less are doing a 5 star job, for 3 star rates.
Many, many regards,

I just wanted to write to thank Peru For Less for helping organize our trip to Paracas. Everything went smoothly, even when our driver had to change a tire on the drive back into Lima (a big thank you for that one!). Thanks again for helping us with the tour and transport.
Carl.
Javier (Arequipa-Colca), Juan Carlos (Cuzco), and Fabricio (Machu Picchu) were our favorite guides! Thanks, Diego, for your part in making our trip fabulous!
