Day 1: Arrival in Lima

• Upon arrival, you will be collected at the airport by one of our Peru Luxury Travel representative and taken to your luxury hotel in Lima.
• You will have the remainder of the day to spend at your leisure resting at your hotel or exploring exciting Lima. Stroll the streets of Miraflores, the modern district, and try some delicious traditional Peruvian dishes in the many restaurants of Barranco. Day 2: Lima City Tour

• After breakfast at your hotel, start exploring Lima on your own before your afternoon city tour. Read our Lima travel guide for ideas on what to do and see in Lima. After lunch, you will enjoy an exciting tour of the city´s most significant historical sites.
• The first city tour will take you to Plaza Mayor, the heart of colonial Lima. The plaza is enclosed by five gorgeous buildings, the Government Palace, the Cathedral, the Archbishop´s Palace, the Municipal Palace, and the Palace of Lima. The architecture, painted in a distinctive, tropical yellow, remains as striking as it did to the conquistadors. You will also visit recently restored landmarks such as San Martin Square, the Central Railway Station and Muralla Park.
• On another tour, you will travel even further back in Lima´s history to the pre-Inca era. The Huaca (Temple) Pucllana, an immense flat-top pyramid similar in structure to a ziggurat, was one of the most important sanctuaries of these ancient peoples. Located in the center of the Miraflores, one of the more modern districts, Huaca Pucllana provides an interesting contrast between the city´s past and present. 
  After visiting the Huaca Pucllana, your tour will take you to the districts of Miraflores, where you can shop in the Larcomar shopping mall overlooking the cliffs of the Pacific Ocean, and Barranco, where you can get a taste for the nightlife of this lively city.

Day 3: Departure from Lima

• After breakfast at your hotel, you will be taken on a private transfer to the Arequipa airport for your return home or on to your next destination.
