Fly above the impressive and incredibly precise symbols carved into the cliffs by the ancient people of Nazca. Known as the Nazca Lines, discovered in 1939, the exact meaning of these drawings has managed to remain a mystery, despite many years of study. The lines span over 450 km on the Pampas de Jumana between the Nazca and Ingenio Rivers. You will have the chance to question the purpose of this ancient art on a personal one hour flight over the entirety of this World Heritage Site.
You will also see the large Candelabra geoglyph, thought to be connected to the Nazca Lines, during a short boat ride from Paracas Bay to the Ballestas Islands. This area is full of beautiful wildlife, including sea lions and colorful birds. This two day trip will give you a taste of Peruvian anthropomorphic history, as well as local flora and fauna.
This tailor-made tour is for perfect for those seeking to maximize their comfort while enjoying a mysterious Peruvian adventure.
