Cusco & Machu Picchu Tour

The Sacred Valley/Cuzco/Machu Picchu (4 d/3 n) from $1,009 €737 £629

Known as the former center of the Inca Empire which included present day Peru, Ecuador, Chile, Argentina and Bolivia, Cusco is one of the most sought after destinations in Peru. Its millenary architecture reflects the power of both the Incas and of the Spanish that usurped them.

Cusco’s surrounding Sacred Valley, boasting lovely traditional Andean villages and spectacular sceneries, is also home to the world-famous Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu, one of the New World Wonders. Said to be a religious center, Machu Picchu was built in an almost impossible location maintaining its mystery and ultimately protecting it from Spanish conquest.  Resting on the very peak of the mountain, Machu Picchu is a mystical and well preserved reflection of Inca achievements.

This Cusco tour is especially designed to enable a full discovery of some of the world’s most amazing places, while ensuring the highest level of service.

Upon descent into the Sacred Valley you will arrive in the area the Inca revered for its lush fertile soils and extensive planting season.
  • You will then ride along the Urubamba River for a short trip to the beautiful town of Pisac. Here you will have the opportunity to visit the lively local market, the largest in the area, and enjoy the beautiful handicrafts on sale.
